Mother's Day Cards

Well, another holiday is upon us, so Liam and I made some Mother's Day cards to send to all special moms we know.  They might arrive a little late, but it's the thought that counts.

We used card stock, celery, red acrylic paint, red glitter, rubber band,
and a colored markers to make these.  First, I cut the celery and placed a rubber
band around the stalks to keep them from spreading when stamping.

Then we poured some paint into a paper plate and dipped the cut end
of the celery into the paint.  Then, stamped it onto the card stock.

We stamped it a few times to make it look like a flower.
Next, we sprinkled on some red glitter to make it sparkle.
I drew a steam and a leaf and wrote "Happy Mother's Day" to complete the card.

Here's our finished Mother's Day card ready to be mailed!

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mothers,
Step Mother's, Mother-in-Laws,
Nana's, Memaw's, Mimi's, and Grandmothers.
Wishing you have a terrific Mother's Day!
