What you need:
4 large grapefruit (preferably Ruby-Red), halved
4 TBsp granulated sugar
4 tsp brown sugar
pinch of flaky sea salt
mint (for garnish)
How to make them:
Preheat oven to broil (about 500˚F).
In a small bowl combine the sugars.
Evenly sprinkle the sugar mixture over the cut surface of each grapefruit.
Place grapefruit on a baking pan.
Using a torch, very carefully and lightly torch the surface of the grapefruit until it is lightly golden brown and the sugar is melted, a few seconds OR if using broiler, broil on the top shelf for bout 4-5 minutes, checking grapefruit frequently.
Sprinkle with sea salt and garnish with fresh mint.
Cut around the edge of the grapefruit to make it easier to ENJOY!
