What you need:
1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour (sifted)
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs (room temperature)
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 cups chocolate chips
How to make them:
Preheat oven to 350˚F.
Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl of an electric mixer, cream the butter, sugars, and vanilla until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
Add eggs one at a time.
Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
Add flour mixture to butter mixture, mix until well blended.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Scoop dough onto prepared cookie sheets.
Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Take out of oven let cool on sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool.
