Super Friends

After all the SUPER food and SUPER activities it was time for some SUPER friends to sing "Happy Birthday" to the SUPER Birthday Boy and to open some SUPER gifts!

Here are the SUPER goodie bags I made for each of the boys to take home.

Liam and all his friends had a SUPER time!

Super Powers

When you have a house full of boys dressed up as super heroes what should you do to entertain them?  Last year we rented a bounce house for Liam's friends to jump in.  It was a lot of fun, but decided to scale it down a bit this year.  Instead, with the help of Pinterest, I came up with some fun games and activities for them to do.

Just in case any of the kiddos didn't wear their super hero  costumes I found some paper masks for them to wear and take home.

One of the first activities was Captain America's Shield Toss....

I bought a bunch of plain frisbees, printed out Captain America's shields, and set out some crayons.

After everyone colored their shields I taped them on the frisbees.

I set up some empty boxes and each super hero threw their shield to knock down the wall.

The next activity was Thor's Hammer Toss.....

I put out some hula hoops and gave them a styrofoam hammer to toss in the rings.

The third activity was Black Widow's Knock Down...

I printed out some of the villains then taped them around

some aluminum cans (washed and dried of course), stacked them up, and

let the kiddos use some NERF guns to knock them down.

The next activity, Hulk's Smash, was a huge hit with the kids.

All I did was set out a bunch of those cake ice cream cones,

gave them some Hulk Hands and let them smash the heck out of those cones!

Spider-Man's Web Shot was their favorite out of all the activities.

I mean, who wouldn't love spraying silly string all of the place?

I just printed some more evil villains, taped them up and

gave each kid a couple cans of silly string that I found at the dollar store.

The last activity was Pin the Arc Reactor on Iron Man game,

which is just a spin on pin the tail on the donkey.

Check out his Super Friends tomorrow...

Super Food

I usually go ALL out when choosing the party menu, but this year I decided to keep it quite simple.  Plus, I had some allergies to work with this year.  I still wanted to make it fun and super hero-ish, so I went on PicMonkey and designed the food cards so go along with the food items.  Liam's toys made the perfect accents for the buffet table!  The fabric I found at JoAnn on sale!  Couldn't pass that up!  The banner is from the party store, as are the plate, napkins, and cups.  That's about it...simple, fun, SUPER!

Check out tomorrow for all the SUPER games and activities the boys did!

Avengers Assemble!

I recently realized with all the commotion of the hubby's homecoming and prepping for our move, I have totally forgot to post Liam's awesome Avengers 7th birthday party!  This year he has been all about super heroes.  So what better theme for his birthday then to have an Avengers one!  One of his favorite super heroes is The Hulk, so of course he wanted to dress up as him.  So that got me thinking, what if all of us dressed up as one of the Avengers.....and that's what we did!  Kinley was Iron (Wo)Man, the hubby was Captain America, and I was Black Widow.  I wish I would've gotten a picture of all of us together, but by time all the kiddos arrived I was too BUSY!  All of Liam's guests showed up in their super hero costumes too!  It was great!

Check out the fun Avenger themed food tomorrow!

Zippy & ZuZu: Avengers Assemble

Calling all Avengers...Time to ASSEMBLE!  Zippy decided to step in for Iron Man's, while ZuZu played the damsel in distress.

Iron Man Zippy!

Who wouldn't want to be rescued by Thor?

Here's our SUPER book for the night!

See ya tomorrow....
