Well the time is finally here.....It's Christmas time and you know what that means? Zippy, our Elf on the Shelf has arrived! Last year was the first year Zippy visited us, he brought little gifts with him every year. But this year I decided to take a little inspiration from the blog
Little Wonders' Days. For each day there will be a theme with a book, craft, and snack to go with it to count down the days to Christmas. I thought this would be a lot more fun, since Liam loves reading new books, making crafts with me, and of course enjoying fun snacks.
On December 1st, Zippy showed up with a bunch of fun surprises for Liam...
The Elf on the Shelf
Zippy left a letter for Liam,
some surprises.....a new movie, Prep & Landing,
an Elfy Microphone,
some yummy Elf "Tinker Toys" (pretzels & cheese),
Liam making and eating his creations
and a fun Elfy craft.
Liam was so excited to see Zippy again!
Wonder where he will be tomorrow...
Dear Candice, I read all of your Elf activities, way to go! So you have two kids, one of them a baby, and you manage to prepare crafts, snacks and books every day ( and night, I guess) - How do you do it, and more importantly, where do you take the energy from?

Hi there, it was a lot of fun coming up with ideas for Zippy to surprise Liam with. I usually try to get everything prepped and ready while they take their naps or the night before he is suppose to arrive. Can't wait till next year when he returns. Hope your holidays were great! Happy New Year!
