Week Four with Zippy & ZuZu

     I can't believe this was our last week with Zippy and ZuZu!  Seems like it went so fast!  We had a lot of fun discovering their hiding spots and reading all the Christmas books they left for us.  Looking forward to next year with they will be visiting us in Germany! Zippy & ZuZu: Goodbye Farewell

     Christmas Day is finally here!  It's such an exciting and magical time for the kiddos.  But also, it can be a little sad since our Elves leave on Christmas Eve night with Santa.  To help them feel a little better, they left a note and one last book for us to read tonight.

Since we are in Texas this year for Christmas, it will definitely be a Cowboy Christmas!

Zippy & ZuZu: Wishful Waiting

     Well, today is Christmas Eve.  WOW! Already?  How did that happen?  Seems like yesterday Zippy and ZuZu had just arrived, now it's time to say good bye.  Liam always gets a little sad when Zippy has to leave.  But I tell him they will be back next year!  Today, we found them by Oma & Opa Rocker and the Nutcracker.  I guess they are ALL waiting to see Santa!

     Today, Zippy and ZuZu brought a little JOY to my dad's, AKA PapPaw's, desk.  Guess it needed some Christmas decorations too!

Zippy & ZuZu: Snowflake Spies

     It isn't the North Pole, but all the snowflakes in mom's, AKA MeeMaw's, kitchen sure does make our little elves feel at home.....so they decided to hang out on the fridge this morning!

Zippy & ZuZu: Magical Mantel

     If you notice a change in scenery for our little elves you're right!  Zippy and ZuZu traveled with us all the way to Texas!  Now they get to have fun hiding and playing around MeeMaw's house!  The first day we were here the kiddos discovered them hanging out on the mantel with the stockings.

Zippy & ZuZu: Texas Travelers

     Well, the day has finally come....time to pack up and drive to Texas, where we will be spending the holidays with our family and friends.  Zippy and ZuZu will be coming with us too!  Looks like they are all packed as well!

Since we will be driving, we won't have time to read this tonight.  

Instead, we will be listening to Liam Neeson recite The Polar Express 

from a CD that came with the book!

     We are HUGE Christmas movie buffs, so it's only natural that our little elves are too! Looks like they found a stack of some good ones to watch while the kiddos slept, and a snack too!
