The First Thanksgiving
Pilgrims and feathers uniting,
Brings a day without fighting.
No bow, no guns, no harm,
Round a table, arm and arm.
A feast fora all to share,
Brings friendship each bare.
Corn on the cob, beans a plenty,
Fresh squash and a golden turkey.
A time of giving,
To those gone and living.
