Summer Bucket List: Erupting Volcanos

I found this Pocket Volcano at Hobby Lobby and thought it would be a fun Summer Bucket List project for us to do.  It was pretty easy, put in the baking soda, add some vinegar, and watch it erupt.  We added some red food coloring to give it a little lava effect.  It was fun!

After a few eruptions, we just decided to pour out some baking soda and
dump a little vinegar on it to watch it bubble up.

We had a sizzlin' good time!

Summer Bucket List: Factory Visit

While we were in El Paso, we decided to stop by Krispy Kreme for a little sweet treat.  I've never been in one and neither has the kiddos.  Since they make their doughnuts in house, we could mark off this activity from our Summer Bucket List.

It was really neat watching the doughnuts on the belt being fried, then glazed and cooled.

After waiting and watching I think it's time for a doughnut!

My favorites are the classic glazed, but we decided to try out the Happy Birthday doughnut

and the Brownie Blast doughnut!

 Doughnut selfies!

This was an awesomely yummy day!

Summer Bucket List: Jungle Jaks

On the weekends we usually try to do an all day family activity from Our Summer Bucket List.  This Saturday we headed to Jungle Jaks.  There was LOTS of fun things to do, the kiddos didn't want to leave!
 Kinley loved the Toddler Town.
Up and down, up and down, up and down the slide!
 Liam rode the motorcycles
 and on the water boats.
But his favorite was jumping onto the inflated air bag thingy.
I don't even know how many times he did it.
Playing in the Foam Factory was fun too!
They liked collecting the balls and having them drop on them from the basket above.
Kinley's favorite was going down the slide, so wanted to go down over and over.
It was really fast, as you can tell from the hubby's face (trying not to drop her),
then look at hers.....she LOVED it!
We all had so much fun!
Can't wait to go back!

Summer Bucket List: Finger Painting

Finger painting can get pretty messy, especially with a toddler.  So to eliminate the mess but still keep the fun, I squirted some of the paint into a Ziploc bag then taped the opening shut.  Next, I taped the bag onto the table.  The kiddos got to draw into the paint and have fun.  Clean up was even easier, pulled up the bag from the tape and into the trash it went!
We will definitely have to do this again, since the kiddos loved it so much!

Texas Time

The next couple of days we just hung out around the house, at my sister's and my mom's.  It was nice not having a schedule for awhile and just being able to relax and take it easy.  We did A LOT of watching the World Cup (as you can see, Kinley is a fan!  I taught her how to put her hands up and say "GOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLL!"  It's so cute).  Usually when we head home we are always on a schedule....seeing friends this day, and going to dinner with family this day, the zoo/Sea World/Children's Museum this day, etc.  Don't get me wrong, I tend to live by a schedule most of the time, and it certainly comes in handy when handling the kiddos.  But I wanted this visit to be laid back for a few days, because we did have a few activities planned later in the week.  But until then, we pretty much did nothing and loved it.

Since I knew we would be in Texas right after Father's Day, I found these really cool gift packages from Man Creates.  One of my friends told me about them and I'm so happy she did.  I really liked that I could pick and choose the date I wanted them delivered.  So I set it up to deliver while were in Texas so I could give them out in person.  They are the perfect gifts for any man in your life!  I ordered a Spicy JerkyGram for my dad and the Premium Jerky Ammo Can for the hubby!  They both really liked them, and so did the rest of the family!

Well, remember that picture frame I found at Target?  I got to finally present it to my Father-in-law when we all went out to eat at Texas Roadhouse.  I had photographed the kids holding up a "P" and an "A" so they could spell out "Papa" when I put them in the frame.  It turned out really cute and he loved it of course!

We took some family pics outside before we headed back home.

The next day, we hung out with my mom and Mr. Camden.

He is starting to stand and side step.
Loves playing in the drawers...

Life is ALWAYS good at Grandma's!

Big boy loves his pickles like his momma!
(My sister used to eat SO many pickles she actually smelled like dill pickles
TRUE STORY!)

Look at those big blue eyes!
Love my little nephew!

Hanging out with family is always a great time.

Summer Bucket List: Story Time

Story Time is always on Our Summer Bucket List, so when Liam pulled this one we headed to Barnes & Noble to hear a story.
Liam sat still and listened, Kinley on the other hand is such a wiggle worm.
She kept going up on the stage, my little super star!
But once they busted out the crayons and coloring sheets, she finally sat still!
(well for 5 minutes at least)
After the story and some coloring, they went and played with the Thomas trains.
Another fun filled day prompted by our Summer Bucket List.
