Zippy & ZuZu: Elf Gifters

     Today is December 6th, and that means it's Saint Nicholas Day!  We have been celebrating this holiday for a few years now, so it's something Big L. looks forward to.  For Little K. this is only her third year that St. Nicholas has visited.  Pretty much, the kiddos set their shoes out hoping St. Nicholas thinks they have been good enough to leave presents, fruit, nuts, candy, or coins in them.  If they have been bad then Krampus will visit instead, who will punish unwell behaved children.  As part of our tradition, St. Nicholas always brings a new ornament for the kiddos to hang up on the tree along with some chocolate coins, a book, candy, and one small gift.  We love incorporating this celebration into our holiday traditions.  Zippy and ZuZu join in on the fun too!

Elf on the Shelf: Saint Nicholas Day

       Happy Saint Nicholas Day!  Last night the kiddos set out their shoes by the fire place waiting for Saint Nicholas to arrive.  He did and brought some yummy chocolate gold coins to enjoy.  I think Zippy wants to eat this one!
