TuTu Cute

     I recently got this new photo editing program called Photoshop Lightroom that I have been so excited to start playing with.  So, I dressed little miss up in a cute Carrie Bradshaw inspired outfit, gave her an oversized flower headband, and my sparkly heels, then took her outside for an impromptu photo shoot. I think they turned out pretty cute!  She is such a cute model!  

     I took a bunch of pictures, but had to wait till the kiddos went to bed to see what I captured.  After a quick upload I watched a quick "how to" video on You Tube to get started.  It was pretty easy to follow and it definitely helped capture some great moments.  

My Little Caterpillar is becoming a Beautiful Butterfly

     I can't believe my little lady is turing the BIG number 2 pretty soon!  Seems like yesterday we were rushing to the hospital to welcome her into our family.  Another year gone and another year older.  She has definitely grown into a big girl with a huge personality full of sass and curiosity, a total Miss Diva!  Last year we celebrated her 1st birthday Somewhere Over the Rainbow.  This year I wanted to bring one of her favorite books, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, to life.  I got her adorable dress from Wild Olive Kids and her headband from Liz Ann's Bowtique.  I dressed her up and we headed out to the Fabian Garcia Research Center (NMSU Botanical Gardens) for a little photo shoot. I wanted to take pictures for her birthday party invites.  She definitely had a bit of an attitude that day, but I did get to capture a few good pictures of her...even if she didn't flash a smile.

I can't wait to see how her invitations turn out...I'll save that for another post.

Daddy's Little Lady

     The other day I had to take some pictures of the hubby for a project I'm working on for the kiddos when he deploys.  After getting his shots, little miss decided to put on daddy's hat so I snapped away and got these ADORABLE pictures.  Sometimes you get the best pictures on an impromptu photo shoot!

My Little Military Brats

     Since the hubby will be deploying for 7 months, I thought I would do a little military inspired photo shoot with the kiddos.  I planned on printing out a bunch of pictures and putting them into a photo album that he can take with him.  I haven't done a photo shoot in awhile, so dressed the kiddos up in his uniform and headed outside.  I think they turned out super cute and something he will treasure while he is gone.

I ain't gonna lie....it will be a LONG 7 months!   But having my littles will definitely make the time go by faster.
