An artificial creation of nature,
boxed like a three dimensional puzzle,
stored in the overhead compartment of the home.
A figure of pure perfection,
it's green spray painted metallic truck
flourishes color coded branches of manufactured plastic.
Trimmed with strands of blinking color,
priceless decorative jewels and gems,
a boa of traditional silver garland,
and an ancient angel to top it off.
No water preserves these seasonal splendor,
that's adored by wide-eyed ankle biters.
Inspired by Mother Nature,
families own sculptures of generic realism,
in place of a real Christmas tree.
