Our Summer Bucket List

Yesterday, the hubby came home early from work, so we decided to head to the Pool, definitely one of our activities from Our Summer Bucket List.

Liam had so much fun splashing, blowing bubbles, and kicking in the water with daddy.

Our Summer Bucket List

Today, Liam and I had fun outside having a Water Balloon Fight, one of the activities from Our Summer Bucket List.  I filled up some balloons and then it was on!

He had so much fun chasing me with balloons and throwing them at me.

Our Summer Bucket List

Another one of our actives from Our Summer Bucket List is to visit a nearby Ostrich Farm.  We see all the ostriches in the field and always wanted to stop by,  so we did that on our way home from Solvang.

Welcome to Ostrich Land!

I didn't realize how strong and tall Ostriches are.
They kept trying to take the bowls out our hands.

They also had Emus, those were less aggressive and didn't try to take the bowls.

We all had a great time!  It was really neat to be so close to such amazing animals.
Definitely one of those things to cross off our bucket list.

Our Summer Bucket List

With all the recent events from being under the weather, family in town for a visit, my baby shower, and just being busy trying to get ready for our move down to New Mexico, Liam and I have skipped a few, well more like a lot, of activities from Our Summer Bucket List.  Yesterday, we finally got back to it.  It was a beautiful day out, so we decided on a full day activity of going to Solvang.

We enjoyed some lunch at a local Dutch resturant.....
gotta love some Pork Sausage, Sauerkraut, Red Cabbage, and Potatoes.

We walked around awhile, Mark even got some coffee.

Then we stopped for some Dutch pastries.  Mark got a Blueberry & Cheese Danish
and I enjoyed a French Waffle.  They were delish!

Here's some of the beautiful buildings.

Liam was definitely ready for a nap after our outing.

I love visiting Solvang!  Such a cute little Danish town.
Something I will definitely miss when we move.

A Secret Garden

On Saturday, June 16th, I was welcomed into a mystical garden baby shower just for me.  I am usually the one hosting the party, so it was definitely a change for me to be the guest of honor.  Everything was soooooooooo beautiful!  Was totally taken back with all the love, thought, hard work, and creativity that my besties, Tori (Lil' Mrs. Crafty) & Kristi, put into planning this special day for me.  Just take a look at these wonderful pictures Kristi took for me, so I could enjoy myself.
